Production Engineer
About The Position
- Lead engineering changes (ECO) from proposal to implementation.
- Help improve product efficacy, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, and cost.
- Authority for production process and documentation. High level understanding (from electro-mechanical assembly, cable routing to product integration).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Creates an efficient manufacturing assembly processes, and detailed work instructions.
- Provides training and support to in-house production and subcontractors.
- Provides product and process DFX input to NPI leader to enhance manufacturability and product costs.
- Leads engineering changes (ECO) including technical and configuration management responsibilities
- Designs, qualifies, documents and introduces production solutions and tools.
Requirements
- Mechanics/Electrical Engineering degree or experienced Practical Engineer.
- 5+ years of experience with manufacturing processes, including process engineering capability.
- Proven knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly, PCBA integration, cable routing, familiar with testing and inspection processes.
- Proven experience in working with mechanical drawings.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Technical skills in prototyping, assembly tooling development, and troubleshooting assembly process.
- Fluency in Hebrew and English.
