Purchasing Coordinator

ACS Motion Control is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our Purchasing Department. The role focuses primarily on purchasing coordination, purchase order follow-up, supplier communication, and ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day purchasing activities across the organization.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on purchase orders from order creation through delivery to the company warehouse.

• Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery dates, shortages, delays, and required documentation.

• Monitor open purchase orders and proactively identify gaps or risks that may impact delivery schedules.

• Update purchasing data and order status in the ERP system and ensure information is accurate and up to date.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Planning, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and other departments, to support purchasing needs and priorities.

• Coordinate supplier-related administrative processes, including documentation, approvals, and the establishment of new suppliers.

• Support the Purchasing Manager with purchasing reports, follow-up activities, supplier data, and day-to-day operational tasks.

• Assist in resolving invoice, delivery, quantity, and documentation discrepancies in coordination with suppliers and relevant internal functions.

• Maintain organized purchasing records and support continuous improvement of purchasing processes and workflows.

• Provide responsive and service-oriented support to company departments and employees regarding purchasing-related requests.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in practical engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

• Up to 3 years of experience in a purchasing/procurement coordination role in an industrial company.

• Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple open tasks simultaneously.

• High attention to detail and strong follow-up capabilities.

• Service-oriented approach and strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and within time constraints.

• Team player with high integrity, ownership, and a hands-on approach.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.

• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
